An interactive sculpture providing an immersive experience of Disobedient AI and experimental knitwear featuring sensor-embedded yarns are some of the academic-artist collaborations on display as part of a new exhibition, King’s Artists – New Thinking, New Making, at King’s this October. Six contemporary artists have collaborated with leading King’s academics over the last year as part of King’s Artists, an innovative project which enables artists to develop their practice in parallel with academic research. An exhibition of creative responses to these collaborations will open on Tuesday 23 October at the Arcade in King’s iconic Bush House. Jackie Adedeji and Itteshad Hossain report for WinkBall

Jackie Adedeji graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in broadcast journalism. She has been working as a reporter for WinkBall since the start and has covered some of our best events to date. Whilst working at WinkBall she has worked as a studio and production runner for the likes of Channel 4, ITV and BBC.

Itteshad has been with WinkBall since its early incarnation. He studied film at Queen Mary, University of London and his love of film has transferred into his reports for WinkBall. Itteshad has filmed some of our best reports including the BFI film screening of Ingrid Goes West and the ITV gala in both London and Manchester. Before working for WinkBall he was a freelance videographer and worked as a production runner for several companies.
