The Cuban Boxing Academy is a local boxing club based in Shepherd’s Bush that offers high-quality training for people with all levels of fitness or experience. It was founded by Marcos Camejo, a native of Cuba, who passes on the secrets of his nations boxing success to those who walk into the gym and he helps develop female and male boxers to a level where they can compete in Amateur Boxing Association of England (ABAE) sanctioned contests. As a well-established part of the community, they provide support to all those that walk through the doors. They work with local schools and young people to provide a safe environment for those in our community. Your Sport TV finds out how the Cuban Boxing Academy uses the Cuban method of training to take female and male boxers to compete in national competitions. The gym also works hard to give those who live in the community the chance to develop skills and confidence that will help them in everyday life.
