My name is Giulia, I hold a Master degree in Digital Journalism from Goldsmiths University of London where I discovered a certain flair and a strong passion for video journalism. After the degree, I produced videos for China Minutes - a Facebook page about Chinese culture based in London - and for Made in Shoreditch - a lifestyle magazine. In both places, I used to pitch stories, organising interviews, shooting and editing, all by myself. After that, I worked full time as an intern with the Digital Video team at CNN for 4 months, where I was producing short text-on-screen video news for an online audience. Im applying to work as a freelance videomaker and editor for Winkball because I want to expand my skillset in filming, and I think this is a good opportunity to get my hands out in the field.
