An interview with Oxford Maqam after their set at the Shubbak Eid Festival at Trafalgar Square. We interviewed the band to find out more about their latest project Wax Cylinder and also what out what Eid means to them. The Mayor of London’s Eid Festival on Trafalgar Square celebrates the end of Ramadan. It includes a popular food festival, live music and fun activities for children and families. Shubbak presents three hours of rousing open-air festival music. WinkBall reporters Vicky Carter & Itteshad Hossain went down to Trafalgar Square to join in in the celebration of Eid.
