Super Women Launch Party

We hope you will come down to Redon on Cambridge Heath Road in Hackney on Thursday 30th May for the Super Women launch party featuring a live talk with an array of inspiring super women to kick off the night, followed by music from DJs Femme, Georgie Rogers and Jay Carder. Founded by broadcaster, journalist and DJ Georgie Rogers (BBC 6 Music, Beats 1, Soho Radio, Foundation FM) and documentary film-maker Alice Smith (BBC, National Geographic, PBS, Discovery, Netflix, BFI), the Super Women platform brings together aspiring filmmakers to tell the stories of pioneers across the fields of music, motorsports, culture and adventure. Super Women is committed to giving opportunities to female film-makers so spread the word to anyone whod like to work in the field and meet like minded women.

Brought up in the Middle East, Vicky is open to new cultures and experiences which is highlighted consistently throughout her work. With a background shaped in the creative arts, Vicky continued her passion for communication and story telling as a presenter, reporter and producer in both radio and TV, as a writer and in a workshop setting as a facilitator. Shes passionate about; culture, the creative arts, travel, extreme sports, music, and uncovering a side to London that not many get a chance to see.

Itteshad has been with WinkBall since its early incarnation. He studied film at Queen Mary, University of London and his love of film has transferred into his reports for WinkBall.
